Ciara celebrated all around the streets of New York City last night after winning an award for her fashion brand.

The “1, 2 Step” singer’s fashion house, The House of LR&C–which she co-founded with her husband, NFL star Russell Wilson–won the sustainability award at the 27th annual ACE awards in the Big Apple on Wednesday, May 3.

To honor it, Ciara danced around the bustling city streets and shared the footage with her 34 million Instagram followers.

Set to the tune of her song “Da Girls,” Ciara captured herself roaming around Grand Central Station donning a chic oversized charcoal grey leather power suit. She paired the statement piece with a black hoodie underneath and wore her long pin-straight locks parted down the middle.

Other clips in the video captured the Grammy-nominated artist strutting down an alleyway adorned with string lights hung from above. She even shared glimpses of her award and moments from inside the event and on the red carpet.

“Do ya Big 1!! Mood when your Fashion House receives the ACE Sustainability Award! @TheHouseofLRC !” Ciara wrote in the caption, adding, “P.S I love NY! @LitabyCiara@GoodmanBrand Proud of us @DangeRussWilson.”

Ciara and her husband joined forces to create the fashion house in 2020. The duo put together their passion for design and fashion, and with a bit of help from their friend, former CEO of Lululemon Christine Day, The House of LR&C was born.

The House of LR&C, which stands for “Love, Respect, and Care,” aims to “democratize retail and redefine the way the fashion industry works” by creating ethical brands “that are inclusive, community-led, and create large-scale positive change” per its website.

According to the brand, “Sustainability is an ongoing practice, a journey that’s all about moving in the right direction.” While its founders are “proud of the progress” its company has made,” they note it’s just the beginning.

“We’re committed to achieving all our goals, big and small, and holding ourselves accountable along the way. So check back often to see how we’re evolving. We promise we’ll always be looking ahead, always moving forward.”
